KLMS keep improving in functionality, design and content

KLMS was developed further in the summer of 2022 with significant updates and improvements. This article lists a few. 

KLMS has been developed on these sprints from 6.13 to version 6.25 during the spring and summer of 2022. This article lists a few of them.

- Role division with four standard roles (Manager/Principal/Superadmin, Teacher/Admin, Course Builder/Author, Employee/User) can then be renamed and copied to new other roles and fully developed as needed in the organization.

- Functionality can be added or turned off for users at the granular level. The previous, more straightforward division of roles has thus been developed to give you a completely customized role distribution (which we took with us as feedback during our demo in autumn 2020 and spring 2022)

- One-button recording of course material. With screen, video, video+screen, or audio recording, no third party is needed for the basic parts of the authoring tool. It is saved locally for editing and directly in the KLMS system. Zoom and Team meetings can thus be saved for later consumption, and the admin can validate that these recordings have been completed/reviewed. All users can theoretically become course builders. This function can be disconnected, and only certain users/roles can be assigned the right to create courses/course materials. The flexibility becomes total to primarily train your employees and secondarily to use the e-learning tool for groups other than the person. - The course material design has been improved with three columns, which improved UX
- Slide-in has replaced pop-ups in large parts of KLMS, which provides a clearer and better UX.
- Messaging system has been added so that all internal communication between administrators, teachers, and students occurs inside KLMS. - The internal support at the municipality can now take place completely inside KLMS, where a support case is registered in the message system and where admin at the municipality and Klick data can jointly decide how this should be resolved. Partly through programming measures in case of direct errors or bugs or via information due to a lack of knowledge. These matters also lead to suggestions for improvements that can be addressed in concert with Klick Data
- The notification system is also used for error reporting, error reporting—troubleshooting, and troubleshooting with feedback on suggested improvements to users.
- Increased number of courses
- Publication to specific users within the academy and publication to a selection of academies. A municipality-related course current and relevant to municipal operations can thus be published to other municipalities but not to all academies within the KLMS ecosystem.
- MS Azure-based statistics with PowerBI are available as a supplement to the self-developed statistics.
- Mailing and allocation from the course description to users who are not registered in AD, e.g., questionnaires to people during the employment process, external consultants who must take note of safety regulations before assignments, etc.
